Pricing & Session Lengths
My current rate is $175/hr. My minimum is $200
My rate for hajichi is $125/hr (to make this reviving practice more accessible to those of Ryukyuan descent)
I accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, and Zelle.
For freehand/draw-on pieces, an additional flat fee of $75 will be charged for the labor of the initial drawing time. I do not count the initial drawing time as part of the hourly rate since I do not want my clients to feel rushed about the design. Freehand is a collaborative process and edits should be made until the client is fully satisfied.
On average, sessions take 2-5 hours (of actual tattooing time). This depends on the size, complexity, and placement of the design. Extra-large pieces may require multiple sessions.
Booking Process
Please see the booking page of my website for how to book. I will respond to your email in a week or so.
A $50 deposit is required to secure the appointment. It will go toward the final cost of the tattoo. If you do not submit your deposit to me within 48 hours, the appointment will be forfeited and I will offer up the appointment to the next person.
No-shows automatically forfeit the deposit.
Touch-ups are free for up to one year and appointments for them can be made any time via email.
Pre-appointment
Please regularly moisturize the area that’s going to be tattooed a week beforehand. Healthy, moisturized skin is easier to tattoo, will deposit ink better, and have less chance of fall-out (when ink doesn’t stay in the skin right after being tattooed).
Stay well-hydrated and nourished in the coming days before your appointment.
Avoid consuming alcohol a day before the appointment since it dilutes the blood and dehydrates you.
Feel free to bring a snack and water to the session. It’s important to keep your body healthy to ensure a smooth tattooing process.
Post-appointment
I provide a detailed aftercare sheet for you to take home after your appointment.
Hand-poked tattoos take about 2 weeks to heal.
Avoid swimming, exercising, and direct sunlight to ensure that your tattoo heals properly.
Keep your tattoo well-moisturized and clean, and only use unscented products.
